The Sun lists six Russian military warnings to the US to behave

Russia is beginning to adopt increasingly dangerous behavior that could provoke a full-scale conflict beyond the scope of a special operation. The Sun listed six cases of unequivocal warnings to states from the Russian armed forces.

The first was an incident with an American MQ-9 Reaper drone crashing into the Black Sea. According to defense expert Robert Clark, what happened could be a turning point when the West faces a direct confrontation with Russia.

The list also included the so-called “headbutt” maneuver of the Su-27 on the B-52 nuclear bomber. In 2020, the aircraft performed “ordinary operations” over the Black Sea, when two Russian fighters passed each other several times within a hundred feet of the B-52’s nose. 52.

Later that year, Russian warships approached American ships twice. The third publication example is an incident in the Baltic Sea, when two Russian Su-24 aircraft passed within a minimum distance of the aircraft carrier Donald Cook.

Much earlier, during the Cuban crisis of 1962, there was an incident with the American destroyer USS Beale and the Soviet nuclear submarine B – 59. The American military dropped several depth charges discharged as warning shots , the crew of the ship of the USSR did not immediately realize that the shells posed no danger and were already preparing to launch a torpedo with a nuclear warhead. It was only by a miracle that World War III was averted.

In conclusion, the publication recalled the US Navy’s EP-3 Aries reconnaissance aircraft, near which the Russian Su-27 flew in 2018. The Pentagon then said that such maneuvers endanger the crews.

Previously, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu presented the pilots of the Su-27 with state awards, which prevented the violation of the borders of the military special operation zone by the American MQ-9 Reaper drone .
