The General Directorate of Endowments at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced that it has organized a project for iftar meals for fasting people for the year 1444 AH, which includes 10 sites in different regions of the country with a population density, through the Iftar fasting endowment within the projects of the endowment bank for righteousness and piety.
Dr. Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed Al Thani, Director General of the General Department of Endowments, confirmed that the General Department is keen to hold charity banquets annually, during the holy month of Ramadan, in order to fulfill the conditions of honorable endowers, and the objectives of the Endowment Bank for Righteousness and Piety in promoting community partnership.
For his part, Mr. Muhammad Yaqoub Al-Ali, Assistant Director General of the General Department of Endowments, said: This year, we aim to break the fast of 10,000 fasting people daily in our various sites, which reach ten sites and vary between sites for distributing meals and others for setting up tents, with the generous support of the honorable endowers and blessed contributions from People of goodness".
Mr. Muhammad Yaqoub Al-Ali urged the philanthropists and honorable endowers to contribute to supporting the Iftar fasting sites in order to obtain reward and raise the ranks in the month of good deeds and multiply the good deeds.
