The Rada says Arkady Rotenberg’s assets in Ukraine have been stopped

– Published on:

Assets of Russian billionaire Arkady Rotenberg in Ukraine arrested. This was stated by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine from the Servant of the People party David Arakhamia.

The Ukrainian parliamentarian wrote on his Telegram channel that the corresponding decision was taken by the country’s Higher Anti-Corruption Court – it will come into force in ten days.

According to the SBU, the amount of Ukrainian assets confiscated from the Russian businessman reaches 300 million dollars.

The Security Service of Ukraine claims that we are talking about the actions of the Ocean Plaza shopping center, located in Kiev. As noted, the assets belonging to the Russian businessman have been nationalized.

“Based on the documents of the Security Service, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court granted the request of the Ministry of Justice regarding the transfer of shares of the Ocean Plaza shopping center to Ukraine,” the SBU Telegram channel said.

Last July, on the initiative of the Ukrainian special services, the assets of Viktor Medvedchuk, as well as his wife Oksana Marchenko, were arrested.
