Armenia’s Defense Ministry denies reports of shooting in Jermuk

The Armenian Defense Ministry issued a rebuttal to reports about the bombing of Jermuk, which appeared in a number of media outlets.

Armenia’s Defense Ministry is still providing information on ceasefire violations, ministry spokesman Aram Torosyan told Sputnik Armenia. He did not confirm the reports in the media.

Some time ago, reports appeared in the media about the sound of gunfire in Jermuk. This has not been officially confirmed. The “Regional Chief” follows the evolution of the situation.

Earlier it became known that the head of the Armenian parliamentary committee for the protection of human rights, Taguhi Tovmasyan, sent urgent letters to international partners because of the dangerous accumulation of Azerbaijani armed forces and equipment near the borders of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh.
