Kursk Governor Roman Starovoit held a meeting of the Council for Improving the Investment Climate, Export Support and Development. The event took place via videoconference.
Among the issues that attracted attention was the implementation of projects on the territory of the Third Pole special economic zone, which will begin as early as 2023, reports the press service of the regional administration.
The initiators of the creation of a special economic zone were local entrepreneurs. The events of last year introduced a number of changes in the implementation of investment projects.
Thanks to the cooperation of the Kursk government and investors, all the plans announced for the implementation of the projects could be kept, but the deadlines for this work were brought forward by about 1 year.
The economic zone potentially interested more than 20 investors. The projects of the “Third Pole” involve the implementation of investment programs in metallurgy, mechanics, chemistry and other fields.
