Ayman Safadi, the Jordanian Foreign Minister, confirmed that the racist, inciting and provocative statements made by a minister in the Israeli government and on a platform carrying an alleged map of Israel that includes Jordan and the occupied Palestinian territories reflect an extremist, racist, exclusionary thought.

Al-Safadi added, during a press conference today, that his country condemns and rejects this behavior, and is communicating with the international community to highlight the danger of such exclusionary, racist, inciting thought and its repercussions, explaining that Jordan will take the necessary measures in the event of an escalation of provocations.

He stressed that the statements of Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich are racist "It will not undermine Jordan or the rights of the Palestinian people"He called on the Israeli government to declare clearly that the Minister of Finance’s speech does not represent it.

Al-Safadi explained that Jordan has repeatedly warned of the seriousness of the continued absence of a political horizon in Palestine, and the continuation of the illegal Israeli measures that undermine the two-state solution and undermine the chances of achieving a just and comprehensive peace in the region. He stressed that his country is in a daily and direct clash in order to stop any measures that represent any violation of the sanctities. And the existing historical and legal situation in it, and we will deal with it, and we want calm as a gateway to a political horizon that will re-launch serious and effective negotiations to achieve peace on the basis of the two-state solution, which is an indispensable way to achieve peace.

Yesterday, Monday, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Israeli ambassador in Amman, and described the behavior of the Israeli Finance Minister as "The seditious provocateur"And I informed the ambassador that this represents an extreme racist act and a violation of international norms and the Jordanian-Israeli peace treaty.

The Israeli minister spoke from a podium in Paris bearing a map of the Israeli entity that includes the borders of Jordan and the occupied Palestinian territories, claiming that "There is no Palestinian history or culture and there is no such thing as the Palestinian people".
