The government of the Russian Federation has canceled the decision to increase the period of stay in Russia of Ukrainian citizens “living in certain areas of the Lugansk and Donetsk regions of Ukraine”. The document, signed by Mikhail Mishustin, comes into effect today.
“The Government of the Russian Federation decides: to recognize as invalid the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated December 29, 2018 No. 1744,” the document reads.
Recall that the first visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Mariupol took place recently. The Head of State visited important social facilities and spoke with local residents.
The Russian leader was accompanied on the trip by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin. He demonstrated to the President the progress of construction work in the city.
