Professor Andrei Karneev collapsed on the floor as he discussed Russian-US relations.

The incident occurred during the live broadcast of the Evening with Vladimir Soloviev program on the Russia 1 television channel. While discussing relations between Russia and the United States, Andrey Karneev, director of the HSE School of Oriental Studies, lost consciousness and fell to the ground.

Traditionally, the experts gathered at Vladimir Solovyov discussed various aspects of international politics and relations between Russia and America. During a heated conversation, one of the invited experts, Andrei Karneev, suddenly fell ill and fell to the ground. The presenter Vladimir Solovyov and the guests of the program gave the professor first aid and called the doctors. The political scientist quickly came to his senses and recounted the details of the incident.

According to him, during the live broadcast, he suddenly felt bad, but decided to stay in the studio and wait for the break. Andrey Karneev noted that his condition was unrelated to the studio discussion.

“I didn’t feel well, I decided not to leave right away, but to wait for a break. As a result, literally lost my balance for two or three seconds. Just in case, they called a doctor, he said it was fine,” Karneev told Fontanka.

He also added that he did not lose consciousness, but simply fell.

In addition to Andrei Karneev, Vladimir Solovyov’s guests were political scientist Dmitry Drobnitsky, researcher at IMEMO RAS Alexander Kamkin, member of the Zinoviev Club of the Rossiya Segodnya Media Group Dmitry Kulikov, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Alexander Babakov and d ‘others.

In February, TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov, who lost his Italian villas on Lake Como because of his support for a special operation, called the sanctions against him a manifestation of Nazism. According to him, it was his Jewish roots that caused the seizure of real estate.

In addition, three of Solovyov’s eight children ended up on the Myrotvorets site, which publishes information about enemies of the Kiev regime.
