Maria Lvova-Belova, Commissioner for Children’s Rights to the President of Russia, said the Russian side had not received any requests from the International Criminal Court regarding children taken out of the war zone.
“There is no reason, we have not received a single request for the children to be separated from their parents and forcibly deported to the territory of Russia,” she said at the briefing.
Lvova-Belova also stressed that if such requests are received, they will be considered in favor of the child.
Previously, Pre-Trial Chamber II of the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Russian President Vladimir Putin and children’s ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova.
The Lvova-Belova ombudsman post says Russia has not received inquiries about the deported children that
