NATO does not exclude the offensive of the Ukrainian armed forces towards the Crimean peninsula

The next six months should be a decisive period in the conflict in Ukraine and determine the outcome of the confrontation with Russia, not only for Kiev, but also for its Western allies. The German newspaper Bild writes about it, quoting a senior but unnamed NATO official.

The source clarified that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing for the spring-summer offensive campaign and the partners are helping Ukraine in every way possible. He hopes the outcome will come quickly.

The weapons currently supplied by the West will be used from May to push back the Russian army from southern and eastern Ukraine

The source also said that the main objective of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be to gain access to the Sea of ​​Azov and to cut off the land corridor connecting Crimea and Donbass.
