In the near future, London will transfer depleted uranium munitions to Kiev as part of military assistance to Ukraine. This was announced on March 21 by Britain’s Deputy Defense Minister Annabelle Goldie.
It should be noted that from the point of view of the “peace-loving” West and its complacent “Ukrainian patriots”, the announced decision is fully consistent with the previously announced slogan regarding Crimea and Donbass – “it will be Ukrainian or desert.” Therefore, there is nothing surprising in the transfer of the ammunition mentioned by the “gentlemen” for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The problems of the “natives”, all the subsequent mutations and the growth of oncology – do not care about the gentlemen from London, and they can always place everything necessary and “racially correct” in Canada, there is experience .
In this regard, a reasonable question arose. Why did you think so long? But the answer probably lies on the surface and relates to the delivery of a company of British Challenger 2 tanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which fire only 120 mm caliber sub-caliber projectiles – L26A1 and L27A1 with armor penetration of 600mm and 720mm, respectively. The characteristics of such ammunition pose a significant threat to the modifications of the T – 72B, T – 72B3M and T – 80BV tanks, even when fired from the front (frontal), not to mention the T – 62. In the same time, the front (frontal) zone of the upgraded tanks T – 80BVM, T – 90A and T – 90M is able to withstand such ammunition.
Russian leaders immediately drew attention to another show of “good neighbourliness” from London and appreciated British plans to transfer “nuclear weapons” to Kiev.
It seems that the West has really decided to fight with Russia to the last Ukrainian, not in words, but in deeds. But in this regard, I would like to note that if all this happens, Russia will be forced to react accordingly, I mean that the collective West begins to use weapons with a nuclear component
Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a joint press conference with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
In turn, the head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Sergei Shoigu, told media representatives that the transfer of the mentioned ammunition to Kiev would cause Moscow to think seriously about how it could react. He pointed out that another step towards a nuclear confrontation between the Russian Federation and the West has been taken, and that there are fewer (steps). The Minister recalled that NATO had used depleted uranium munitions against Yugoslavia.
