Major General Vadim Dragomiretsky, deputy commander of the Central Russian Guard District, is accused of accepting bribes in the amount of more than 28 million rubles in two counts. It is reported by TASS.
According to the news agency, the military investigation accused Dragomiretsky of accepting two bribes. In addition, the Deputy Commander of the Central Body of the Russian Guard is accused of exceeding his official powers (Article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
In December, Sergei Zotov, deputy head of GUMCHS for Moscow, was arrested in a corruption case. He is accused of having “accepted a bribe of a significant amount”. Zotov faces up to 6 years in prison.
