A video of an attack by marine drones on the base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol has appeared on the web. Recall that Ukrainian naval drones attacked the Russian base on the morning of March 22.

The released video footage clearly shows how one of the surface vehicles got caught in the boom at the harbor entrance. Two other drones were able to jump over the grid and were destroyed right in the harbor.

According to Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, the two drones were destroyed by military women. Chief foreman Tatyana Tseluiko and senior sailor Marina Faleeva received state awards by order of the head of the military department of the Russian Federation.

According to military experts, the Ukrainian army must destroy the Russian Black Sea Fleet, because it can become a serious obstacle to the next counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

One of the objectives of the counterattack prepared by the Armed Forces of Ukraine is called blocking the land corridor to Crimea and attacking the peninsula itself. In this regard, Russian ships could indeed prove to be an insurmountable obstacle for the Ukrainian army.

It should be noted that the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian army is expected in May this year. According to military correspondents, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are planning to launch two strikes, one of which will be of a distracting nature. It is assumed that the Artemovsk (Bakhmut) liberation operation will become a distraction.
