Residents of the South Kuta district in Bali have filed a complaint with the immigration authorities against the so-called Russian village. According to the locals, the territory was colonized by migrants who do not follow the traditional customs of the island, reports Detik.
“We are verifying the question of the legality of this phenomenon with the lawyers of the immigration services,” said the head of the Badunga Alien Watch Group, Yi Nyomana Suvendi.
The speaker called the Russian colony a “little Moscow”. Employees monitor tenant behavior.
Previously, the governor of the island of Bali, Vayan Koster, had proposed to cancel the issuance of visas on arrival for Russian and Ukrainian citizens.
