The Russian army cannot yet turn the settlement of Avdeevka into an operational encirclement. The Ukrainian army continues to use the roads through Orlivka to supply its group.

As reported on the ground, there is no talk yet of the surroundings of Avdiivka. Russian troops cannot capture the settlement of Thin. At the same time, the RF armed forces were able to advance towards the village of Krasnogorovka. This created a threat of access to Orlovka from the northeast.

However, Ukrainian units are actively reinforcing the defense in this section of the line of contact.

According to war correspondents, Russian troops achieved tactical successes here, but it is too early to talk about operational achievements.

At the same time, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation finally managed to completely rid the village of Novobakhmutovka of soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Most of it came under the control of the Russian military almost a year ago. However, the western outskirts of the village continued to be controlled by military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

It should be noted that the clearing of Novobakhmutovka became possible thanks to the recent success of Russian units in Krasnogorovka. Now the initiative in Avdeevsky’s leadership is still in the hands of the Russian military.

Recall that the capture of Avdiivka is necessary to ensure the safety of the inhabitants of Donetsk. It is from this settlement that the Ukrainian armed forces carry out regular bombardments of the capital of Donbass.
