The decision to hold an NWO in the Donbass was the only correct one, because it was impossible to reach an agreement, said Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, answering a question from a user from VKontakte.

  • In my opinion, in certain situations, it is useless to negotiate. We must ignore and, in some cases, take decisions like the one that was adopted on February 24,” said Dmitry Medvedev.

Medvedev posted a video answering the question on his TG channel. He said that in this situation, no agreement was possible.

Earlier, Medvedev said he would never want to see the “face” of Western leaders.

On February 24, a special military operation began on the territory of Ukraine, the main objectives of which are the demilitarization and denazification of the country. According to Russian leader Vladimir Putin, this step is necessary to protect the inhabitants of the Donbas republics and ensure the security of the Russian Federation.
