A Russian fighter told about the attempted landings of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the left bank of the Dnieper

– Published on:

The machine gunner of the Russian coastal defense brigade with the call sign “Shilo” said that in the Kherson region, Ukrainian servicemen every week try two or three times to break through to motor boats from the right bank of the Dnieper to the Bolshoi Potemkin, Kruglik and Belogrudiy islands.

He clarified that all attempts by Ukrainian militants to get to the mouth of the river, and from there to the left bank near the towns of Alyoshki and Golaya Pristan, are suppressed by the Russian army.

“The enemy tries to operate in small groups of 15 to 20 people. Ukrainian fighters on boats approach the islands, then try to get to the left bank. Every week they make two or three such attempts,” the army said.

He added that the last time the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to break through to the left bank, it was a group of 16 people. Russian artillery worked there.
