A resident of Belgorod is suspected of embezzlement and embezzlement, the press service of the regional Interior Ministry reported. It is assumed that as an employee of the organization for the manufacture and installation of windows, the woman fraudulently stole about 300,000 rubles.
According to preliminary information, Belgorod’s wife held a managerial position at the company and, using her position, made receipts and expense reports for materials that were not actually purchased. Thus, she was able to appropriate about 300,000 rubles, which she then spent.
A criminal case was opened under Part 3 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“appropriation and embezzlement of funds causing significant harm to a citizen”). The penalty under the article is up to six years in prison.
