The Basmanny court in Moscow arrested the head of the specialized customs post of the Central Excise Customs, Alexander Aleyev, and the deputy head of the Central Customs Administration of the Federal Customs Service, Alexander Beglov, in the case of a bribe on a particularly large escalate. The arrest will last until May 22.
According to investigators, Beglov and Aleev met with two entrepreneurs who brought $50,000 with them. At the time of the money transfer, four participants in the transaction were detained by the FSB. Security forces conducted searches, including at the workplaces of the suspects, and seized around 40 million rubles.
