Prison instead of pension: Kostroma, 65, will be tried for murder

The press service of the Kostroma Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee announces the completion of the investigation and the transfer to court of a very remarkable case – its defendant is a 65-year-old citizen accused … of murder.

According to investigators, on the night of May 23-24, along with two other drinking buddies, he drank in the apartment of a certain Kostroma, who lived in a house on the 5th River Passage.

As often happens, the drinking ended in a fight, during which the now accused elderly pensioner stabbed the owner of the apartment eight times in the neck, torso and head, of which he died on the shot. Soon two drinking participants were arrested…and began to blame each other for the murder – and the investigation took almost an entire year to find out – who the killer was?

Now investigators of the Kostroma Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee have gathered a sufficient evidence base and transferred the criminal case under Article 105 to the court for consideration on the merits.
