Pushilin said Maryinka would be released after taking a site west of the city

The complete liberation of Marinka in the Donetsk People’s Republic from Ukrainian nationalists will occur when the territory of the western part of the city is taken under control. This was announced today by the region’s interim chief Denis Pushilin.

He noted that fierce battles continue in this direction. Militants continue to transfer reserves.

“A small part of Maryinka herself remained in the western part so that we can say that Maryinka has been released,” Pushilin said on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

Recall, The Eastern Herald said that Ukrainian nationalists continue to retreat under the heavy onslaught of Russian troops. Our soldiers systematically push the enemy out of their positions.


The hottest spots in the Special Operation are Marinka, Vuhledar, Avdeevka and Artemovsk (Bakhmut) . According to some reports, the militants are preparing a counterattack in the Artemovsk (Bakhmut) region. But now Russian assault troops are advancing to further encircle the city.
