According to the department, extinguishing the fire is complicated by the threat of flames spreading to a warehouse with flammable liquid.

CASS clarifies that the fire broke out in the research and production holding VMP, which produces paints and varnishes for industrial use and fire-retardant paints. The production complex was built in 2017.

The day before the fire exploded on the territory of the Yaroslavl Engine Plant. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, transformer oil burned over an area of ​​30 square meters. meters.
