Serbian Major General Danko Jovanovic spoke of the UK’s decision to send depleted uranium shells to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The material with him leads the publication “Evening News”.

According to the expert, during the NATO aggression against Serbia, 30 mm shells were used, transported with 289 grams of depleted uranium. All this caused environmental pollution and illnesses of the inhabitants.

“This is confirmed by the wounded Italian servicemen who are part of the NATO contingent in Kosovo KFOR,” he said.

According to Yovanovitch, the British shells for Ukraine are much more dangerous than those used in Serbia, because they carry much more radiation, which means that the consequences will be much more serious. Wrote about it Lenta.ru.

“Using 120mm projectiles with significantly more depleted uranium means incomparably greater contamination of soil and water, which will last for thousands of years,” he concluded.

Earlier it became known that the Ukrainian authorities decided not to confiscate the weapons from the citizens of the country, which were massively distributed after the start of the special military operation of the Russian Federation.
