This decision was made by the court.
The owners of the dog offered the victim to hush up the matter for 20,000 rubles. But the woman, who was attacked by the alabai, considered that such an amount did not correspond to moral or material losses and went to court to demand recovery from the owners of the dog for the cost of treatment of an amount of just over 10,000 and moral compensation of 300,000 rubles.
The court granted the woman’s demands, but only partially. As a result, in addition to 10,125 rubles for treatment, she received 150,000 rubles in compensation for moral damage.
It should be added that the defendants did not consider it necessary to appear in court, although they did not deny their guilt, explaining what happened by the fact that that day the dog broke the chain and dug under the fence.
