From April 1, Kazakhstan will start operating an online tracking system for goods delivered to the state for onward shipment to other countries, including Russia.

After US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken’s visit to Astana, Kazakhstan, by a strange coincidence, approved a system to track the movement of goods destined for re-export. Simply put, the arrival of the US representative gave impetus to the closure of parallel imports of goods to the Russian Federation.

Now the neighboring country is responsible for importing cars and other Western vehicles. The second category of goods are chemicals industry products, Artem Deev, Head of Analytical Department at AMarkets, said in an interview with MK.

It is worth noting that if Russians want to buy a foreign car at Kazakhstan prices, this can be done at the border at the dealership.
