Jaipur: Describing the removal of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Lok Sabha membership as another example of dictatorship, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that Rahul Gandhi is the voice of the country which will be stronger against this dictatorship. On canceling Nehru Gandhi’s membership today, Gehlot said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has not forgotten that it had adopted the same method against Mrs Indira Gandhi and she was outspoken.
He said that in Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi raised the issue of inflation, unemployment, corruption and usurpation. Instead of paying attention to this, the BJP government is taking repressive measures against Mr. Rahul Gandhi. He said that it is beyond understanding why BJP is standing in support of dishonest people like Nirav Modi and Lalit Modi. He said that the BJP should be told that Nirav Modi, who went abroad to rob the poor of their rights, Lalit Modi is not a thief.
