The famous German resort town of Baden-Baden will inevitably face collapse without Russian tourists, according to the Schwaebische Zeitung.
The material indicates that Russians have been visiting this station for 200 years, and now Baden-Baden has serious problems. The publication quotes the words of the vice-president of the German-Russian cultural society in the city, Valentina Yushina: “It is all over. The Russians will not come back.”
Restaurants, hotels and shops are reportedly already closing in Baden-Baden, and Ukrainian refugees are coming to the city instead of Russian tourists. According to the publication, there are currently more in Baden-Baden than anywhere else in southwestern Germany.
In July it was reported that Baden-Baden was empty without the Russians. There were 1.1 thousand registered Russians in the city and about the same number of people with dual citizenship.
