Tyson Fury is considering his next fight after his team’s failure with Oleksandr Usyk. The choice is between Joe Joyce, Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz.
According to ESPN’s Mike Coppinger, the Briton is not considering quitting and is considering options, although Fnank Warren said he could “hang up the gloves”.
A boxer with Mexican blood, having learned that they were no longer going to negotiate, posted a poster showing him and Tyson in the ring. Andy had been looking for the opportunity to become the WBC light heavyweight champion for a long time, as he had already done so in the WBO, IBF and WBA.
Recall that in recent weeks the negotiations between the parties began to get complicated, until they finally failed. First there was talk of a 50v50 deal which Tyson Fury didn’t agree to, then they agreed it would be 70v30, but it looks like the April 29 fight wasn’t going to happen.
For his part, Oleksandr Usyk will have to face his opponents. The WBA’s Daniel Dubois is next, but there’s also the IBF’s Filip Hrgovic.
Recall that Usyk and Fury had to sign a contract for the fight before April 1st. If an agreement is not reached, negotiations will be scheduled for Usyk’s fight with Daniel Dubois.
