15 migrants lived fictitiously with a grandmother from Tver, who will now respond under the criminal code. This was announced on March 27 by the press service of the regional interior ministry.

Department employees discovered that the 63-year-old pensioner had registered immigrants from neighboring countries in her apartment, located in Spinning Street, for a monetary reward. There were also stateless people among the migrants. In fact, the woman hadn’t planned to let the tenants in.

The police determined that the grandmother’s two-room apartment was not designed for such a large number of people. The suspect confessed that she earned money this way.

A criminal case was opened against the pensioner under Article 322.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The migrants were kicked out of the grandmother’s apartment.
