Russian Telegram channels report that General Rustam Muradov, who notably commanded the Uludar leadership, was removed from his post as commander of the Eastern Group of Russian troops in Ukraine.

On the evening of March 26, it became known that the commander of the Eastern group of forces, General Rustam Muradov, had been removed from his post.

The united group “Vostok” in recent months has had success in the direction of Zaporizhzhia and encountered great problems during offensive operations near Vugledar, writes “Russian Spring”.


Previously, Muradov served as the commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Artsakh (Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh).

At the time of publication, information about the general’s resignation has not been officially confirmed.
