The value of the state’s trade balance surplus jumped during 2022 by 64.9 percent annually, supported by the increase in Qatari exports. According to a statement by the Planning and Statistics Authority, Qatar recorded last year a surplus in its trade balance of 354.85 billion riyals, or about $97.5 billion, compared to 215.25 billion riyals. / 59.13 billion dollars / in 2021.
