Doctors managed to stop the process of tissue necrosis associated with the consequences of severe pneumonia in Olympic champion Roman Kostomarov. New details about the health of the athlete were reported by the Telegram channel “112”.

“The figure skater had a tracheostomy stitched up. The athlete’s cerebral circulation has returned to normal,” the hospital said.

Doctors note that in the near future there will be no surgical interventions. Kostomarov was transferred to drug therapy, they put on droppers and injections. The famous figure skater is now conscious.

Earlier it was reported about the stabilization of the condition of Roman Kostomarov and the decision of doctors to start preparations for prostheses. Recall that due to tissue necrosis, the Olympic champion had to undergo several amputation operations.
