The Russian, who has been wintering in Bali for many years, reported “shoals of compatriots”, because of which the country’s authorities have tightened control over tourists, write “Subtleties of tourism”.

The compatriot visited Bali and explained that the Indonesian authorities intend to restore order in the country, because there are good reasons.

“Our compatriots are mowing, hooligans, rowdy – I saw it with my own eyes,” he said.

He informed that the “winterers” do not bring money to the tourism industry, because they do not come to rest, but to earn money. Having opened a business on the island, Russians try not to pay taxes, and also to hire compatriots.

According to the author of the publication, citizens of the Russian Federation often abuse alcohol and “ride bicycles” without helmets.

The Russian noted that the country’s authorities want to attract tourists who come to the island to relax for a few weeks.

Earlier, the “regional leader” reported that Bali residents were complaining about the “Russian village”.
