North Korea’s leader shut down an entire city to search for 653 bullets.

newspaper revealed "Daily Mail" It was reported that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un ordered the complete closure of the city of Hyesan, in the northern province of Ryangang, on the border with China, after the loss of 653 bullets from his soldiers during the recent military withdrawal.

According to the British newspaper, the North Korean leader made the decision to completely close the city and search its homes, although 200,000 citizens live on its territory.

Last week, factories, farms, social groups and neighborhood watch units in the county were ordered to actively cooperate with the investigation related to ammunition, but no bullets were found after ten days of searching and checking, an official told the newspaper.

The Daily Mail reported that the missing ammunition was discovered on March 7, 2023, when soldiers from the Seventh Korean Army were withdrawing from the area around the city, which borders China. They were deployed there in 2020 to enforce border closures at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
