Russian athletes will likely be allowed to compete in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. However, a condition must be met for this. Sport 24 talks about it.
It is assumed that the condition for the admission of athletes will be a ban on participation in team sports: football, volleyball, handball and others. It is specified that the main criterion for admission will also be that Russian athletes will perform in a neutral status.
It is known that the IOC Executive Committee will discuss the issue of admitting Russians to international competitions today, March 28.
Earlier it became known that the heads of the Baltic sports ministries issued a joint statement regarding the admission of Russians. The Poles joined them, determined not to let the Russians and Belarusians into the 2024 Olympics.
