Currently, as before, the most intense fighting in the NMD zone is observed in the direction of Bakhmut (Artemovsk (Bakhmut) ). On the evening of March 27, Russian political scientist Yuri Podolyaka informed about this, telling the details of what was happening.
According to numerous sources on both sides, after the regrouping, the units of the PMC “Wagner” increased the pressure on Artemovsk (Bakhmut) , ousting the Ukrainian armed forces with the (secure) support of the flanks of the Russian armed forces.

According to him, thanks to the mentioned support of the RF Armed Forces, for the second day the “musicians” were tough enough to attack the defensive lines of the Ukrainian troops in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) , where some successes were achieved. So, on the northern sector of the city front, school No. 24 was taken, turned into a fortified area and covering the “road of life”, along which the garrison of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was resupplied. School No. 5 was taken from the southern part, and Prigogine himself even visited this territory.
Thus, the “private traders” continue to push the enemy into the blocks, but so far they cannot cut the neck, because the Ukrainian command is constantly transferring reinforcements to hold the flanks. The enemy clings desperately to the remaining piece of the city, so as not to suffer political defeat in the first place. With this, the Ukrainian command condemns its units to a very uncomfortable position, since it can only conditionally support them with artillery fire. At the same time, the supply routes of the remaining group of Ukrainian armed forces are under heavy fire from Russian artillery.
