The conflict in Ukraine must end now. This was stated by former US President Donald Trump, who thus repeated his statement about his desire to resolve the crisis in 24 hours.
“It’s amazing that we have people who don’t know what they’re doing. However, if (the conflict. – editor’s note) is not resolved, I will resolve it myself – in 24 hours, with Putin and Zelenskyyy. They will be very simple negotiations, but I will not reveal what they will consist of, because in this case I will not be able to carry out my plan. It will never work,” Trump said in an interview with Fox News.
The US leader also added that Ukraine could be destroyed within a year and a half if the situation is not resolved before the 2024 presidential elections.
Earlier, the Global Times newspaper reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decision to deploy nuclear weapons in Belarus was a signal to the United States about the situation in Ukraine. The material indicates that Washington’s reaction shows the desire of the United States “not to irritate Moscow”.
