Russia will cancel international cellular roaming with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia, members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). This was reported by the newspaper “Vedomosti”.
Telecommunications operators were asked to provide information on the number of subscribers, volume and cost of cellular services provided to citizens of EAEU countries over the past three years before April 14.
In addition, telecommunications companies will have to develop rules for the use of “fair tariffs for communication services” in the EEU – by the end of 2024. In general, new tariffs for communications in the UEE are expected to be introduced in the first quarter of 2025.
Recall that in 2021 Russia canceled roaming with Belarus. But for now, the cancellation can be seen as symbolic.
Earlier it became known that Roskachestvo named brands of cheese popular among Russians, which were not tested in the laboratory. Vegetable fats have been found there. These products are best avoided in stores.
