Belgrade sent electrical equipment to Kiev as humanitarian aid. This was reported by the press service of the government of the Serbian Republic.
Support included 19 different electronic devices and parts of the electrical infrastructure.
“Serbia will continue to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine as far as possible,” Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said.
She also said that the idea of sending equipment to Ukraine belongs to the Japanese Ambassador to Serbia, Takahiko Katsumata.
Earlier, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said the country needed peace in Ukraine and he didn’t expect anyone to win. He noted that he would especially like the war to end “this second”.
