The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that Germany and the United States, having simultaneously launched the same versions of the explosions on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines, were caught in the act of lying .

The diplomat explained that Berlin and Washington needed the stories to divert attention from the investigation of journalist Seymour Hersh, who considers Norway and the United States guilty of the terrorist attacks.
