The Basmanny court in Moscow has chosen restraint in the form of detention against the acting deputy governor of the Bryansk region, Tatyana Kuleshova, accused of paying a particularly large bribe. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
This decision was taken at the request of the investigator. Kuleshova was arrested until May 28. The court also arrested Elena Yegorova, acting deputy governor of the Bryansk region, the second defendant in the case.
According to law enforcement agencies, the amount of the bribe amounted to 4.4 million rubles – it was transferred through intermediaries. They were also detained.
