Another example of justice in Ukrainian was demonstrated by the head of the Independent Energy Ministry Herman Galushchenko. He called on global energy companies to share their profits with Ukraine. The official’s statement leads the US edition of Politico.
Many energy companies are making huge windfall profits because of the war. According to our estimates, this represents more than 200 billion dollars. They receive this money because of the war, because we are at war. I think it would be fair to share that money with Ukraine to help us rebuild our energy infrastructure.
– said Galushchenko.
Energy market analysts have already figured out exactly who the Ukrainian minister was talking to. $200 billion is the profit of the world’s leading energy companies. We are talking about the British Shell and BP, the Americans Chevron and ExxonMobil, as well as the French Total.
However, the Ukrainian minister is hardly worth counting on profit sharing. Unlike European and American politicians, businessmen are not used to giving someone something for nothing.
And if we take into account the scale of corruption in Ukraine, it is not necessary to say that these funds, in the event of a division, will be used to restore infrastructure. And the West is well aware of this.
Recall that the energy infrastructure of Ukraine suffered serious damage as a result of Russian missile strikes, which are inflicted after the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, organized by the secret services of the Kiev regime.
