Miners themselves will vote for convenient hunting conditions in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug

In general, the timing of spring hunting in the region will be determined in mid-April. Albert Shabdarov, head of the Department of Natural Resources, Ecology and Agro-Industrial Complex of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, announced this at the weekly operational meeting of the head of the region.

According to Albert Shabdarov, determining the time of hunting should focus on weather conditions and the opinion of locals. The department plans to conduct a hunter survey through April 12. During this period, a meeting of the commission will take place, during which the dates for the spring hunt will be approved.

– I would like hunters to understand that until April 12 there will be no reliable information about the timing of the spring hunt. We will conduct a survey soon. The hunters will vote for the most acceptable hunting period for them”, explained the head of the department.

In turn, NAO Governor Yuri Bezdudny instructed the relevant department to involve the heads of the region’s municipalities in this work.
