The Russian Spring War Volunteers, Volunteers and Correspondents Telegram channel reports on the situation in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) (Ukrainian name Bakhmut).

According to military correspondents, Wagner PMC fighters storm the city center and also try to reach the rear of the Ukrainian armed forces from the flanks.

“In the center, the situation is very difficult, street fighting continues along Independence, Torgovaya, Vasily Pershin and Mira streets with varying success. Along Mariupolskaya Street, the Ukrainian armed forces are trying to counterattack. Southwest of Bakhmut, PMC Wagner attacks along Korsunsky Street. Heavy fighting lasted all night. Along Cherry and Blagodatnaya streets, “Wagners” launched several attacks. Fighting continues in the area AZOM,” the channel wrote.

It is also reported that in the area of Ivanovsky, Khromovoy and Bogdanovka, Russian forces are pressing on the flanks to encircle Bakhmut and advance towards Chasy Yar.

“Between Stupochki and Ivanovsky there are frontal battles, the Wagners are trying to get to the rear of the group in the Ivanovsky region, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to push the PMCs as far as possible from the highway T0504. The Vasyukovka-Razdolovka-Veseloye line is unchanged, perhaps for the first time in recent times. The PMC is strengthening for a new wave of assaults”, summarizes the chain.
