At the same time, the Prime Minister noted that so far there is no talk of serious attempts to resolve the existing conflicts between the superpowers.
“Above all, the state of relations between the United States and China is concerning. The major powers are responsible for maintaining stable and working relations between them, because any quarrel between them will have terrible consequences – for them. themselves and for the world,” he added. He also expressed the view that the atmosphere of instability created by unresolved conflicts hampers state cooperation to solve global problems, including economic, environmental and anti-epidemic.
At the same time, the Prime Minister of Singapore expressed hope for the stabilization of relations between Beijing and Washington, and stressed the need for Asian countries to deepen cooperation with each other and with China, and for the development of a wide network of interstate associations in the region to strengthen stability.
