Spain agreed to send 6 German Leopard tanks to Ukraine. Kiev will receive weapons after Easter, reports the newspaper El Pais, referring to the head of the Spanish Department of Defense, Margarita Robles.
It is reported that sending military vehicles to Kiev will allow Spain to help the Ukrainian people. Spanish politicians are very concerned about the escalation of the conflict in the NVO area and believe that 6 units will help protect the integrity of Ukraine.
The publication pointed out that the Leopard tanks sent to Kiev had been repaired at the Santa Bárbara Sistemas factory in Alcala de Guadaira. Now the technique is being formed.

Previously, the “Main Regional” had announced that Spain would train more than 50 servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the handling of German tanks. The training started at the end of January and was supposed to last about two months.
