A resident of Krasnodar lost 15 million rubles in the trunk of a car

Krasnodar law enforcement agencies discovered the theft of 15 million rubles from a local resident. The victim himself reported the missing money to the police. According to the man, a large sum of money disappeared from the trunk of his car parked in the mall parking lot.

During operational search activities, police identified the suspects and their whereabouts. According to the Kuban Main Directorate of the Interior Ministry, a 47-year-old Volgograd resident and a 39-year-old visitor from Voronezh were detained by law enforcement officers while on a business trip . The alleged offenders were taken to Krasnodar to clarify the circumstances.

A criminal case was opened against the men under part 4 of article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. During the period of pre-trial proceedings, the accused was taken into custody. The men face up to 10 years in prison.

Earlier, The Eastern Heraldin Kuban wrote that law enforcement officers arrested a man suspected of stealing a bank account in the regional center. Investigators say the enterprising young man took out a loan in the name of a new acquaintance and then appropriated some of the money.
