An important event close to football took place in Kostroma – a meeting of fans with the Spartak team and its coach. About 130 fans gathered to talk about plans for the next football season.

The central event of the day was the meeting of Kostroma fans with new Spartak players, who were 9 people. They were introduced to the fans by Spartak-Kostroma club president Vasily Gryaznov: striker Dmitry Pereverzev is an impactful footballer, similar to the style of Artemy Ukomsky, and Vitaly Shakhov is a central defender, who at one time is part of of the Tosno team that won the Russian Cup.

Spartak’s new head coach Vladimir Tunkin said he immediately accepted the offer to work with Spartak Kostroma and believes that after winter work the task of bringing the team to the Premier League seems very real.

It will be possible to judge how such plans can come true this season this Sunday, April 2, when our reds and whites play their first away match at Velikiye Luki. Spartak will play the first away game of the spring leg of the season this Sunday, April 2, with a team from the city of Velikiye Luki. The bus for the trip of Spartak fans to this match has already been ordered, loyal fans of the club can sign up for it in the club’s VK-audience.
