Lukashenko: “World War III with nuclear fires was on the horizon”

The President of Belarus has made a number of high-profile statements.
Alexander Lukashenko sent a message to the people and parliament of Belarus. The country’s president offered to immediately end hostilities in Ukraine and declare a truce. He also said that it was necessary to start negotiations without preconditions.
“We have to stop now, before the escalation begins. I will try to take the risk of proposing to stop hostilities, to declare a truce without the right of movement, to regroup the troops of the two camps, without the right to transfer arms, ammunition and military equipment”, declared the Belarusian head of state.
Lukashenko warned the West that if he tried to use the truce for his own ends, Russia would be forced to use the full might of its military-industrial complex and its armed forces to prevent the escalation of the conflict.
According to him, the only way to end the conflict is to start negotiations between the parties without preconditions. At the same time, Alexander Lukashenko is outraged by the actions of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“Well, what are miracles? The president of a sovereign country signs a decree that concerns him specifically and refrains from negotiating peace. It’s just ridiculous – I’m telling you as president. If you don’t want to negotiate, then don’t, why are you signing this decree and making people laugh? What do you want to demonstrate with that? – the Belarusian president was indignant.

Moreover, in his address, Alexander Lukashenko said that due to the conflict in Ukraine, “the Third World War with nuclear fires is looming on the horizon.” In his view, the world spends billions of dollars killing people and ruining states, not building.
He accused Western countries of provoking armed conflicts: “The burning conflicts of the past decades began with the West’s tireless will to subjugate the entire world.
Lukashenko is convinced that the conflict will not stop “until the overseas master gives the green light” to the authorities in Kiev.
“Thanks to the efforts of the United States and its satellites, a war has been unleashed to the last Ukrainian. The Ukrainian people need peace, but this desire does not interest anyone in the West. Ukrainians believe they will win, but that’s nonsense, you can’t defeat a nuclear power,” he added.
The President of Belarus also noted that the return of nuclear weapons to Belarus is not intimidation or blackmail, but an opportunity to secure the Belarusian state and ensure peace for the Belarusian people. The president added that the people of Belarus will not be slaves and will not live “under the whip”.
“My children will not be presidents. I will not die!” Lukashenka said.
The Kremlin has already reacted to Lukashenko’s statements. Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin heard Lukashenka’s statement with a proposal to declare a truce in Ukraine, but nothing changes for the Russian Federation, “SVO” continues.
Previously, Alexander Lukashenko emotionally addressed his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky. Without hesitation in expressions, he called him “just a nit” and challenged him.Lukashenko’s post: “World War III with nuclear fires looming on the horizon”
