The Union of Journalists of Russia, together with the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation, is developing a new status for war correspondents – “veteran of military journalism”.
Media war correspondents in Russia may soon receive military journalism veteran status. The message for Thursday, March 30 is distributed by the Chairman of the Union of Journalists of the Russian Federation Vladimir Soloviev.
The UJR, together with the Ministry of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, is directly involved in the creation and development of documentary materials for establishing the status.
– The Union of Journalists of Russia, together with the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation, is developing a new status for military correspondents, it can be called a “veteran military journalist”, Vladimir Soloviev said in a message .
National military correspondents mainly work on a special military operation in Ukraine. They cover the events of the conflict either through the media or through their own sources, most often on Telegram channels.
